Revive Fort Ringgold is an all Volunteer Force. We are an (IRS) Internal Revenue Service recognized organization exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501 (c) (3). Revive Fort Ringgold also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522. Revive Fort Ringgold has been determined to be a private foundation within the meaning of Section 509 (a). The Revive Fort Ringgold nonprofit status is retroactive to the Effective Date of Exemption- May 7, 2015.
Monetary donations will be used to cover cost of facilities refurbishments, museum operations and all things Fort Ringgold improvements.
The Rio Grande City Consolidated School District, the City of Rio Grande City, the RGC Economic Development Corporation and the Rio Grande City Historical Society have join forces in efforts to bring our beloved Fort Ringgold back to its grand splendor.
